Dick Taylor has a 1973 TR6 with an Arkay turbo kit originally designed by Kas Kastner and installed in 1985. The design is a suck through system that uses a single HS8 carburetor Water injection is started at 4 psi of boost and uses distilled water injected through a 0.015 inch hypodermic needle directly into the carb. The system will generate 165 HP with 6 pounds of boost and 200 HP with 12 pounds of boost. A MSD ignition system retards the ignition half a degree for each pound of boost.
